Mohammad Hossein Saghafi, the Production and Development Manager at Pasargad Alloy Steel Industries, stated: "Gas is considered a primary material for steel units. Therefore, we have no substitute for natural gas, and the hydrogen issue is for countries that can generate a lot of electricity."
He continued: "We should establish a balance in consumption by saving energy and ensuring gas supply for industries. Gas is being consumed wastefully, while globally the priority is given to industry. However, today, instead of supporting production, we witness support for consumption."
